For more information about the vSphere products refer to http://www.vmware.com/products/vsphere/ or see the vSphere 5.5 Data sheet http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/products/vsphere/VMware-vSphere-Datasheet.pdf Existing vSphere Essentials Plus 5.1 or 5.5 with VSA customers contract will be updated to reflect the new 5.5 vSphere Essentials Plus product SKU and a VSA product SKU individually. Please note that HP will continue to sell vSphere Essentials Plus without VSA. vSphere VSA as standalone was announced as end of availability as of April 1, 2014. As per our partner agreement with VMware, HP must end support on these products in alignment with VMware’s End of Support Life date. While you may continue to use the VMware vSphere Storage Appliance product, HP support for this product will end for the 5.5 version as of September 30, 2018. End of service life for the vSphere Essentials Plus 5.5 version is announced as September 19. 2018 . Version 6.0 vSphere Essentials Plus was released March 12, 2015 and EOSL date is currently set as March 12, 2020. IMPACT OF CHANGE Customers may see a change to the SKUS on their contract when quote of renewal support of executed if they upgrade to vCloud Network and Securities within the program timeline. HP is no longer selling Vmware vShield, the functionality of this product was replaced by vCloud Network and Securities vShield Endpoint functionality is embedded in some editions of the vSphere 5.1 platform. HP is no longer selling Vmware vCloud Network and Securities and an EOSL date has been Announced as 9/19/16.
