As per our partner agreement with VMware, HP must end support on these products in alignment with VMware’s End of Support Life date. While you may continue to use the vShield products, support will end on August 31, 2013. HP makes every attempt to provide replacement or migration information to our customers. vShield Edge, Application and Data Security capabilities have been integrated and enhanced in the vCloud Networking and Security 5.1 products. VMware vCloud Networking and Security 5.1end of availability for sale was announced as 9/30/13. And functionality was available within the vCloud Suites 5.1 and 5.5 version. On 3/12/15 vCloud Networking and Security functionality was removed from vCloud Suites at the time of the 6.0 release. vCloud Network and Securities 5.5 end of support life date have been announced as 9/19/16. While you may continue to use the vCloud Network and Securities products, support will end on August 31, 2016. vShield Endpoint has been integrated into the VMware vSphere® 5.1 platform and is available in all editions and kits with the exception of Essentials Kit. Endpoint support will continue under the vSphere 5.1 product. If you did not choose to take advantage of the license exchange opportunity offered by HP that ended May 30, 2013, your support agreement will be amended to remove vShield support on August 31, 2013 and a pro-rated credit will be applied against the unused portion of support for these products. If you did choose to take advantage of the license exchange opportunity offered by HP that ended May 30, 2013, your support agreement will be amended to remove vCloud Network and Securities support on September 30, 2016 and a pro-rated credit will be applied against the unused portion of support for these products.
