Document ID: c04910251 Version: 1 VMware View 5.X End of Service Life and End of Availability for Sale Notification Release Date: 2015-12-03 Last Updated: 2015-12-03 DETAILS OF CHANGE VMware View Enterprise 4.X or 5.X will reach their End of Support Life date as follows: November 30, 2014 (4.X) and September 30, 2016 (5.X). As per our partner agreement with VMware, HP must end support on these products in alignment with VMware’s End of Support Life date. While you may continue to use your current View Enterprise 4.X products, support will end on November 30, 2014. As an existing View Enterprise 4.X customer, you are entitled to receive View Enterprise 5.X as part of your support and subscription entitlement. You may not see an update on your HP support contract as all product numbers did not change with the release of the 5.X product. View Enterprise 5.X version will reach End of Support Life date on September 30, 2016. If you have upgraded from View Enterprise to Horizon Standard 6.X End of Support Life date has been announced as 6/19/19. If you wish to move to the latest version of the view functionality you must purchase an upgrade to Horizon View 6.X For more information about the newest product Horizon View refer to: http://www.vmware.com/products/view/overview.html . HP is no longer selling Vmware View, this was replaced by Horizon View 5/13/13. HP is no longer selling Vmware Horizon View, the Horizon View product has been renamed to Horizon Standard 6/19/14 but requires a paid upgrade to move from View to Horizon Standard.
