With the release of vSphere 5.0 VMware now ‘soft bundles’ all acceleration kits: upon renewal of your service contract for the acceleration kit product you will find the individual component products of vSphere and vCenter Server Standard. As an existing vSphere customer, you are entitled to receive the matching edition of the future versions of vSphere 5.X as part of your support and subscription entitlement. In May 2013 HP will begin offering for sale the new VMware Acceleration Kit products which will be composed of vSphere, vCenter Server Standard and vCenter Operations Management.
