After upgrading HPE OneView Version 1.x to Version 2.00.02, the HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Integrated Remote Console (IRC) install executable will not be downloaded in the browser. This occurs after clicking the "Actions" drop-down box and selecting "Launch Console:" After selecting "Launch Console" and "Install Software," the download of the IRC install file will not occur. If the IRC software is already installed, the "Already installed" button can be selected but it is recommended to use the latest available version to avoid any issues: In addition, the dialog message will change without downloading the IRC install file:
Scope
Any upgrades to OneView 1.X through to OneView 2.00.02 when using HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Integrated Remote Console (IRC).
Resolution
This issue is corrected by updating to OneView 2.00.07: https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=Z7550-63180 As a workaround, install the HP Lights-Out Stand-Alone Remote Console (HPLOCONS) for Windows. The Lights-Out Console (HPLOCONS) provides the same functionality as the iLO Integrated Remote Console (IRC) application that is launched directly from an iLO 3 or iLO 4 web server, without going through the iLO web-based user interface. Perform the following steps: Click on the following link: http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/portal/site/hpsc . Enter the product (e.g., Integrated Lights-Out 4) in the Product Name box and click Go. Click the link for "Get drivers, software & firmware" on "Download options" tab. Select the appropriate operating system (such as, Windows 2012). Select the Category, "Software - Lights-Out Management." Locate, download, and install the "Recommended - HPE Lights-Out Stand-Alone Remote Console for Windows," Version 1.3.1, dated 11 Dec 2015 (or later). Click "Launch Console." Then click "Already Installed." NOTE: After performing these steps, the HPLOCONS should launch automatically.
