When an HP 6120XG blade switch is connected to an H3C S5820 10-Gigabit rack switch and both switches are configured with VLAN interface IP addresses, snmpwalks for LLDP-MIB::lldpRemManAddrOID will time out. Scope
Any ProLiant server configured with an HP 6120XG Blade Switch with an H3C S5820 10-Gigabit rack switch in the configuration.
Resolution
Upgrade the HP ProCurve 6120 Blade Switch Firmware to Version Z.14.54, available at the following URL: http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5107107&swItemId=MTX_de6dfd4e62cc497bb9bf873c34&swEnvOid=4024 OR As a workaround, disconnect the H3C S5820 10-Gigabit rack switch from the 6120XG blade switch, or remove the IP address from the VLAN interface on the H3C S5820 10-Gigabit rack switch, to restore snmpwalk functionality.
