The HPE 6127XLG Blade Switch may fail to properly establish a link when using the HP X120 1G SFP RJ45 T Transceiver (JD089B) on the uplink ports if the firmware version is earlier than version R2422P01. The switch will be unable to detect the link (as if the cables are unplugged). This is a compatibility issue between this particular Gigabit copper transceiver and the firmware version. NOTE: The HP X120 1G SFP RJ45 T Transceiver (JD089B) is available as an option for the 6127XLG Blade Switch.
Scope
Any HPE 6127XLG Blade Switch running firmware versions earlier than Firmware Version R2422P01 when an HP X120 1G SFP RJ45 T Transceiver (JD089B) is installed.
Resolution
