Release Date: 2021-10-20 Last Updated: 2021-10-21 Potential Security Impact: Remote: Unauthenticated Disclosure of Information Source: Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HPE Product Security Response Team VULNERABILITY SUMMARY HPE 6120XG switches running firmware Z.14.58 or earlier using ssh could be vulnerable to CVE-2008-5161, a remote unauthenticated information disclosure vulnerability in ssh, encountered with SSH sessions using CBC cipher. HPE has provided the following information to resolve the issue: Due to the fact that the 6120XG is end of life, no further firmware patches or releases will be done.
