We recently switched to compiler-rt, which changed out several files that are linked, and consequently removed the GCC compiler version entry from the ELF comment section. We should probably just make our own entry in all cases, so we have a standard consistent entry to rely on. We should do this in the build during the link steps. We already do similar objcopy commands for GDB index or Split debug info, so this would be of similar nature.
