Description:
Symptoms
Assume that you install the following in an instance of SQL Server 2017: Microsoft SQL Server Distributed Replay (DReplay) Controller and Clients feature SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 17.x that contains the Microsoft SQL Server DReplay administration tool After the installation, when you try to replay a captured trace by running the DReplay.exe file, you may receive an error message that resembles the following: Unexpected error occurred
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server: Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2017
