Description:

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario: You create one or more snapshot backups for a database in Microsoft SQL Server 2017. You create one or more memory-optimized OLTP tables in the database. You configure all the containers in the memory-optimized filegroup to be stored in Microsoft Azure Blob storage. In this scenario, you may receive an assertion error within minutes or hours after you create another snapshot backup for the database.

Resolution

This fix is included in Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2017.
