Description:

Symptoms

Assume that you use daylight saving time (DST) in SQL Server 2017 on Linux. When the America or Sao Paulo time zone is used on the Linux system, you may notice that the DST changes are not determined by SQL Server.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:        Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2017
