Description:

Symptoms

Assume that you have a Master Data Services (MDS) database in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and SQL Server 2017. You log on to MDS and access the Users and Groups functional area in your browser. When another user then logs on to this area by using their account and browser, that user sees your name in their browser.

Resolution

This fix is included in the following updates: Cumulative Update 8 for SQL Server 2017 Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 2 Cumulative Update 9 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1
