Description:
Symptoms
Assume that you have a table with a filtered nonclustered index (NCI) over a clustered columnstore index (CCI) in SQL Server 2016 and 2017. When you update the table in a way that none of the key or included columns of the NCI are updated, you may notice that the filtered NCI is not maintained. Specifically, the update will cause rows in the CCI to move, and the locator values of the corresponding rows in the filtered NCI may not be updated. This issue may cause a persistent cross-rowset corruption and wrong results for SELECT queries.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
