The optimizer may fail to produce the plan and throw an error when you enable the Scalar User-Defined Function (UDF) Inlining feature and try to update a partitioned view by using the output of the UDF. Here is the error message: Msg 8624, Level 16, State 21, Line <LineNumber> Internal Query Processor Error: The query processor could not produce a query plan.
