Restoring from a compressed backup that contains filestream content occasionally fails when the restore is run by using the Virtual Device Interface (VDI) client. The following error message is generated: Msg 3241 The media family on device '<backup file name>' is incorrectly formed. SQL Server cannot process this media family.
