Symptoms can include: - A watermark is displayed on the Windows desktop, indicating that the version of Windows currently in use is not activated. - Attempting to install a valid Windows product key might result in an error. In affected devices, activation tasks using slmgr commands on both KMS and non-KMS activated machines fail with the following errors: - When using the slmgr /dlv command, the message “Product key not found” is displayed - When using the slmgr /ipk command, the error code “0xC004F01F” is displayed Resolution: This issue was resolved in updates released October 10 ().
