The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.2 - May 15, 2024. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.1.2. Fixed an issue where, when the firewall communicated with the Cloud Identity Engine before the device certificate was installed on the firewall or Panorama, subsequent queries to the Cloud Identity Engine failed.
