The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.2.0 - May 16, 2024. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.2.2. Fixed an issue where, when the firewall had Advanced Routing enabled, a static route remained active after an interface went down. When the firewall has Advanced Routing enabled, a static route stays active after the interface goes down. Workaround : For firewalls that support Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD), configure BFD for the static route.
