The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.10 - May 15, 2024. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.2.2, 10.1.10. ( PA-400 Series firewalls only ) Fixed an issue where running a PAN-OS 10.2 release caused dataplane processes to restart unexpectedly. Running any version of PAN-OS 10.2 on a PA-400 Series firewall can cause the dataplane process to restart unexpectedly and trigger a crash. Running any version of PAN-OS 10.2.1 on a PA-400 Series firewall can cause the dataplane process to restart unexpectedly and trigger a crash.
