No performance data for vSphere environment

Last update date:

Veeam ONE

Affected releases:

8.0

Fixed releases:

No fixed releases provided.

Description:

Challenge

Veeam ONE Monitor Client shows the "No data available" message on performance charts for different metrics:

Cause

Here are the most common reasons for missing data on the performance charts: There is no Write access to the "PerfСache" folder for the Veeam ONE service account. There is a connection problem between Veeam ONE server and vSphere environment due to not enough permissions for the account used for collecting data from the vCenter Server or ESX(i) host. There is a problem with the vCenter Server or ESX(i) host itself or its database and the required records were not provided to Veeam ONE.

Solution

To resolve the issue, make sure: You do not have a "Disk cache error" configuration issue and/or active alarm in the Veeam ONE Monitor Client, otherwise, check permissions on access to the "PerfСache" folder for the Veeam ONE service account. The permissions are granted for the user account that is used to connect to a corresponding virtual infrastructure object. The user account that is used to connect to a corresponding virtual infrastructure object has a recent password set in Connection Settings in Veeam ONE.
