Last update date:

11/19/2020

Affected products:

Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center

Affected releases:

8.0

Fixed releases:

No fixed releases provided.

Description:

Challenge

While Veeam Collector works fine, and performance data are showing up SCOM performance views, the Top dashboards - Top Clusters, Top Datastores, Top Hosts, Top Virtual Machines - are empty.

Cause

The Top dashboards are populated with data from Data Warehouse database, unlike the performance views which are based on the data stored in OperationsManager database.

Solution

Verify that performance metrics are present in Data Warehouse. Open Reporting pane in the SCOM console and use a Veeam VMware Performance History report relevant to the Top dashboard in question.Example: if you do miss data in the Top Hosts view check vSphere Hosts. CPU Performance History and vSphere Hosts. Memory Performance History reports. It can take up to 48 hours to insert data in the Data Warehouse after the MP is imported.

More Information

If enough time has passed since Veeam MP installation yet you miss data in the Data Warehouse, please open a case with Veeam Support.
