Description:
Challenge
A task utilizing storage snapshot integration fails with any of the following errors: VM does not meet requirements for storage snapshot based jobs: its virtual disks are not located on supported storage VM does not meet requirements for storage snapshot based jobs: its files are located on datastore with multiple extents VM does not meet requirements for storage snapshot based jobs: not all VM disks can be processed using storage snapshots as a source
Solution
Before You Begin Review the following tasks and documentation: Rescan the vCenter. Rescan the Storage System. Review the Backup from Storage Snapshot Prerequisites.
