Description:

Purpose

This article explains how to change the Oracle Redo log file location used during Application-Aware Backup. Note: These settings only affect the log file location for Application-Aware Backup operations.

Solution

Linux-based Oracle Server: In the location where the Veeam agent starts, by default /tmp/, create VeeamOracleAgent.xml containing the following:  <config OracleTempLogPath="/location"></config> Make sure that the /location path has appropriate permissions for write/read.   Windows-based Oracle Server: Create the following registry value on the Oracle VM, and specify the desire temp log path: Key Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\ Value Name: OracleTempLogPath Value Type: String Value (REG_SZ) Value Data:
