Description:
Challenge
When attempting to deploy or install the Veeam CBT driver on a machine running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, the following error occurs:
Solution
As documented in the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows System Requirements, when installing Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows on a machine running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, the Veeam CBT driver is supported only if Microsoft Windows update KB3033929 is installed. Verify that KB3033929 is installed by downloading and running the update. If the following message appears, proceed to the next section for information about bypassing the KB check.
