Purpose
This article documents the paths available to upgrade Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to the most recent version.
Upgrade Paths
End of Support Upgrade Path There is no supported upgrade path for products that have reached End of Support. A new Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 server must be created using the latest version.
Version 5.x
5.x -> 7.0.0.2911 Upgrade to Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 7 (7.0.0.2911) Open the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Console and upgrade existing backup repositories, backup jobs, and remote proxy servers.
Version 6.x
