11
No fixed releases provided.
This article documents the specific Proxy Appliance type/size that Veeam Backup & Replication will use during the Archive Tier Data Transfer process.
Archive Tier Information More information about Archive Tier can be found in the Userguide: Archive Tier Limitations for Archive Tier Archive Tier Data Transfer Archiving Job
If limitations on EC2 Instance Type or Azure VM Size are in place that prevent Veeam Backup & Replication from creating the Proxy Appliance, the Archive Job will fail. For example, if the Azure VM size that Veeam Backup & Replication attempts to create is not allowed, the following error will occur: Failed to create Microsoft Azure VM: Resource was disallowed by policy. Reasons: 'This is not an allowed Size, only approved sizes are A0, Av2, B, Dv4, Dsv4, Dv5, Dsv5, Fsv2'.
