Challenge

A Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows v6 Backup Job for a machine running Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2 fails with the error: Exception of type 'Veeam.Backup.AgentProvider.AgentClosedException' was thrown. When this occurs, the following error can be found in the Windows Logs > Application event log: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error .. For Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows managed by Veeam Backup & Replication Protection Group Update Veeam Backup & Replication to 12.0.0.1420 P20230412 or higher, then upgrade Veeam Agent deployments.
