Symptoms
How to increase the default allowed length for email address in Watch4netWatch4net APG User Email Address has a default character limit of 50, need to have at least 128
Resolution
To increase Watch4net APG User Email Address character limit, do the following: Stop the backend service: /opt/AGP/bin/manage-modules.sh service backend stop Log into MySQL. In Watch4net 6.x, MySQL is here: /opt/APG/bin/mysql-client.sh User: apgDatabase: masterpwd: <your pwd> Run the following at the MySQL prompt: mysql> desc users; mysql> alter table users modify email varchar(128) ; mysql> desc users; Exit MySQL and restart the backend service.
