Symptoms

Cannot connect to a Smarts AM Domain Manager using the Smarts SAM Global Console interface Can connect to the Smarts AM Domain Manager using DMCTL The following error is reported at the Smarts SAM Global Console:Cannot attach to GlobalManager:com.smarts.store.SmStoreException: Cannot find Manager AM-PM server on 10.10.10.10: Connection timed out: connect

Cause

The port that the Smarts AM-PM server uses is blocked by a firewall.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must open the port on the firewall that is used by the Smarts AM-PM server.
