Can I reload the Smarts adapter-setting.asl health script without restarting the Smarts IP domain manager?
No. The Smarts adapter-setting.asl health script rule requires a restart of the Smarts IP domain manager for any changes to take effect.
Some Smarts ASL scripts require a domain restart for any changes to take effect. In the case of the adapter-setting.asl script, it is used to set network adapter performance settings for systems/devices. It uses SNMPAccessor to do this, and the associated settings are applied every time a device is discovered or a domain restarted. Therefore, this script requires a restart the Smarts AM/PM domain manager, and it is not sufficient for the script just to be reloaded.
