Symptoms

Is there a DMCTL Command to determine if a Smarts SAM Escalation Policy is ENABLED? Is there a DMCTL Command to determine if a Smarts SAM Escalation Policy is DISABLED? How can I determine the current status of a Smarts SAM Escalation Policy via the DMCTL command line interface?

Resolution

You can get a list of your current Smarts SAM Escalation Policies using the following command:./dmctl -s <SAM DOMAIN> getI ICS_AutoActionPolicyYou can then use the following command to check the current status of any of the escalation policies in the list derived from the above command:./dmctl -s <SAM DOMAIN> get ICS_AutoActionPolicy::<Policy Name>::Enabled
