Device is discovered into a Smarts IP domain but has a certification value of "UNDISCOVERED"
The device has a "NULL" system OID of "0" or ".0.0". The Smarts IP discovery code assumes that the sysOID of a device, once returned, is valid. Since the OID value is null or invalid, there is no match in the oid2Type file to know whether the host is Compaq, HP, Dell, or other, or whether the device is a router/switch. As there is a partial host MIB discovery, the device gets discovered as a Host and because of this and is added to the Smarts IP domain, but the certification is set to "UNDISCOVERED".
This is a device vendor issue. Request that the vendor address the invalid system OID for the device in question.
