Resolution
To install APG on Windows in Watch4Net APG 5: Download the most recent APG version from the EMC support site (http://support.emc.com). Confirm sufficient database space is allocatedAPG disk usage uses almost 100% of disk space within 4 weeksSee DatabaseSizeEvaluator Excel file You must have administrative privileges to run the installer You need to have a valid APG license key (send the request to sales@watch4net.com if you do not have one) Installing on Windows platforms: Execute setup-win32-v50.exe or the one corresponding to the version you are installing. Click on the Next button. The license agreement dialog box appears. Select I Agree. The Choose Install Location dialog box appears. Accept the default destination folder, or click on the Browse button to select a another folder. Click on the Install button. The installation process will begin. Once completed, click on the Next button. The License dialog box appears. Make sure the first box is checked and then click on the Finish button. From the tools box folder: Click on the APG License Installer and on Configure EMC Smarts domains if you whish to link APG with SMARTS. Start the services in the following order: APG-MySQL, APG-Backend, APG-Collector, then Apache Tomcat APG-Tomcat. You can then access the URL as : http://Your_Server_Name_Or_IP_Address:58080/APG/ . The default password for the "admin" user is "changeme". As it says well by itself, please make sure to change it using mysql.
