Symptoms
Smarts IP Manager has no performance instrumentation for high speed interfaces
Cause
OIDs are missing for high speed interfaces. High speed interfaces such as gigabit interfaces need 64 bit counters to track the data necessary to do performance computations. All 64 bit counters can be found on OIDs start with the sequence 1.3.6.1.2.1.31. If these OIDs are missing then a device cannot get its perfomance measured as there is no data to read. If there is no ifHighSpeed OID (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.15) or the ifHighSpeed OID does not have a value available from the agent, then the performance instrumentation will not be created.
Resolution
Review the configuration of your device and adjusted as required for the high speed interface OID value to be avaliable.
