Watch4net SolutionPack installer stops workingWhat is the correct procedure to update the Watch4net Centralized Management Module?Watch4net SolutionPack installer stops working after installing permanent license keys. Watch4net installation program allows you to step through the installation and enter in all of the required information, but after selecting Install the screen remains black and nothing gets installed.
To update the Watch4net Centralized Management Module, do the following: Obtain the Watch4net Centralized Management Update Patch from the the Watch4net product page of the EMC Online Support site (https://support.emc.com). To access this patch, select Support By Product, search for "Watch4net" and then select Downloads.Copy the appropriate update patch *.pkg file for your server architecture into the following directory on your Watch4net Centralized Management server: <EMC_WATCH4NET_DIRECTORY>/Tools/Module-Repository/ Change (cd) to the EMC Watch4net executables directory: cd <EMC_WATCH4NET_DIRECTORY>/bin Stop the Tomcat service: manage-modules.sh service stop tomcat Update the Centralized Management module: manage-modules.sh update centralized-management Start the Tomcat service: manage-modules.sh service start tomcat Connect to your Centralized-Management Server using the following URL: http://YourServerIP:58080/centralized-management/Note: The default user credentials are admin/changeme. Once logged in to the server, install your SolutionPacks through SolutionPack Center.
Watch4net installations using temporary licenses do not see this issue.
