Symptoms
How to increase the font size in the Smarts consoleCustomers may want to increase the font size for their Smarts Console display.
Cause
The console has a default fault.
Resolution
For UNIX, append the option to the end of your console startup command: Append the following option to your sm_gui start up command:<basedir>/SAM/smarts/bin/sm_gui -Dcom.smarts.font=Calibri -Dcom.smarts.fontSize=## For Microsoft Windows, right click on your console shortcut: In the target window, add the following option:-Dcom.smarts.font=Calibri -Dcom.smarts.fontSize=## Where ## is replaced with the size of the font.This is an example of the console shortcut property with the change in font style and size.C:\InCharge93\CONSOLE\smarts\bin\sm_gui.exe -Dcom.smarts.font="Impact Regular" -Dcom.smarts.fontSize=20If you wanted to use the Font Impact Regular you would need to change the option and since the font has two words to the name you would need to use double quotes.Restart the console and the font size will change. Please note: the Font must be installed on your Windows Client in order to display properly. .
