Description:
Symptoms
When opening the vRO Monitoring Client you receive an error The application is disabled until you configure the authentication provider.
Cause
The setting config.auth.profiles in /etc/vco/configuration/controlcenter.properties is not populated or misconfigured.
Resolution
Before proceeding, ensure that valid backups or snapshots are available. Perform the below on each vRO appliance participating in the cluster: Edit the file /etc/vco/configuration/controlcenter.properties vRA Authentication: config.auth.profiles = sso_configured,horizon vSphere Authentication: config.auth.profiles = sso_configured,cm Save the changes and then execute the following command /var/lib/vco/tools/configuration-cli/bin/vro-configure.sh controlcenter-update Restart the ControlCenter service: service vco-configurator restart
