Details

The Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) provides information that enables VMware to improve the VMware products, services and to fix problems. When you choose to participate in CEIP, VMware will collect technical information about your use of VMware products and services and this information is reported back to VMware on a regular basis.

Solution

You can view the most recently sent files at any time by navigating to the following directory: For vCenter Server on Windows: %ProgramData%\VMware\vCenterServer\logs\vsan-health\For vCenter Server Appliance: /var/log/vmware/vsan-health/ The relevant files (in compressed format) are the following: cloud_health_check_data.json.gzobfuscationTableForHuman.json.gzvsan_perf_data.json.gzvsan_telemetry_data.json.gz For more information about the CEIP, see the vSphere Documentation Center. The data collected in relation to vSAN falls under the 'Standard' participation level category.
