The VMware Aria Operations appliance was recently deployed via a Content Library in vCenter.The hard disk configuration of the VMware Aria Operations VM is not the expected configuration. Example: Hard disk 1 - 20 GBHard disk 2 - 250GBHard disk 3 - 4 GB The VMware Aria Operations appliance displays the following error on the console after power on NO NETWORK DETECTED. PLEASE CHECK THE NETWORK CONFIGURATIONFor more details login and examine the following log/opt/vmware/var/log/vrops_network_manager.log The vRealize Operations cluster is offline due to out of disk space error and following the steps from KB 2016022 does not resolve the issue.
This article explains how to redeploy a VMware Aria Operations appliance when an appliance deployed via vCenter Content Library is not functioning.Note: If this article does not resolve your issue, see Troubleshooting Storage Issues in vRealize Operations (83239).
All data from the initial VMware Aria Operations deployment will be lost.
To resolve the issue, the VMware Aria Operations appliance must be redeployed. Method 1 - Redeploy directly from ova file Obtain the VMware Aria Operations ova file from VMware Downloads . Follow the directions in Create a Node by Deploying an OVF Method 2 - Redeploy from content library Redeploy the VMware Aria Operations template from the Content Library in vCenter.Prior to powering on the VMware Aria Operations VM, right click the VM and select Edit Settings.Modify the hard disk configuration to match the expected configuration: Hard disk 1 - 20 GBHard disk 2 - 250GBHard disk 3 - 4 GB Power on the VMware Aria Operations VM.
