Description:
Symptoms
Cannot access Networking and Security plugin is missing in flash client following an upgrade to NSX-v 6.4.11No functional impact because HTML5 client is still accessible.Unable to utilize SSL VPN UI which is deprecated in HTML5In the vCenter log bundle, entries similar to the below can be found in var/log/vmware/vsphere-client/logs/vsphere_client_virgo.log [2021-10-23T08:49:15.455Z] [ERROR] plugin-deploy13 org.eclipse.virgo.medic.eventlog.default DE0002E Installation of bundle 'com.vmware.vshield.plugin.common.service' version '5.1.0' failed. org.eclipse.virgo.kernel.osgi.framework.UnableToSatisfyBundleDependenciesException: Unable to satisfy dependencies of bundle 'com.vmware.vshield.plugin.common.service' at version '5.1.0': Cannot resolve: com.vmware.vshield.plugin.common.service Resolver report: An Import-Package could not be resolved. Resolver error data <Import-Package: com.vmware.vshield.sddc.model; version="0.0.0">. Caused by missing constraint in bundle <com.vmware.vshield.plugin.common.service_5.1.0> constraint: <Import-Package: com.vmware.vshield.sddc.model; version="0.0.0">
Cause
There were some unwanted SDDC references in the file "/em/maven/ui/ngc/common/vshield-common-service/src/main/resources/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF"
Resolution
Currently there is no resolution to this issue
Workaround
REST API can be used to configure SSL VPN till 6.4.12 is availablehttps://kb.vmware.com/s/article/79929
