This article informs users with an understanding of how the lifecycle of the host will be managed when it is moved from an image managed cluster to Datacenter/Folder to become a standalone host.UI Dialog UI will display this confirmation dialog when the host is moved from an image managed cluster to Datacenter/Folder When a host is moved from an image managed cluster to Datacenter/Folder it becomes Standalone Host. We will make the best effort to make the Standalone Host managed via image in following cases: S. NO Condition 1. Host is not in disconnected or unreachable state 2. Software pre-check to determine if the host contains NSX component is able to run fine 3. Host being moved doesn't have NSX component installed on it 4. Host being moved contains NSX Component version of 4.2 or higher Note: If any of the above condition is not met and the host cannot become image managed, it will fallback to being baseline managed Standalone host.
