Description:

Symptoms

Replication not working on vSAN datastores after upgrade to App Volumes 4.13.0 or 4.13.1 When replicating packages or AppStacks from a vSAN datastore, the replication fails to copy these files to the destination storage. In the App Volumes Manager log file, the packages and AppStacks meant for replication are skipped.

Purpose

This article informs about the issue and that the fix is available in App Volumes 4.13.2.

Cause

vSAN datastores do not use "-flat" files, which was a dependency in the change introduced in 4.13.0.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in App Volumes 2312.2. Hence, It is recommended to upgrade to App Volumes 2312.2 (4.13.2). For more details refer to the release notes: VMware App Volumes 4, version 2312.2 Release Notes
