Description:

Symptoms

With the release of version 23.02 Workspace One Assist introduced WNS support to enhance connection reliability. This was achieved by leveraging MSIX packaging, where Assist team introduced an application packaged in MSIX format to support WNS. However, an issue is identified with this support “Assist application displays 2 shortcut icons in start menu”. Versions IdentifiedWorkspace One Assist Windows Application v24.03AET-15734 - The Assist Application, which has been whitelisted in the Kiosk Profile within UEM, is not visible on the Kiosk User Desktop.

Resolution

At present, no resolution has been implemented for this issue. This KB will be promptly updated with any resolutions that may be identified in the future.
