Description:
Issue
If a WatchGuard System Manager Management Server has more than 100 Fireware firmware images installed, newer Fireware images may not be detected. This can cause scheduled firmware upgrades to fail with the error: ".....This Management Server does not have any OS software installed on it. Please install the OS software on the Management Server before attempting to use the scheduled OS update...." To verify if this issue affects your Management Server: Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\WatchGuard\resources\FirewareXTM.Open catalog.ini.Check if the value of "catalog=" fields equals FirewareXTM.
Workaround/Solution
If this problem occurs, remove all of the old Fireware firmware files from the Management Server. Then, re-install the newer Fireware images necessary for schedule upgrades.
