Description:
Issue
On hosts that run Oracle/Sun Java JDK 11.0.8 or higher, AuthPoint Gateway installation fails near the end of the installation process. The AuthPoint services are installed in the Windows Services console, but none of the files necessary for the services to work are installed.Note: If an 8.x version is also installed on the host, the installation still fails because the Gateway installer detects the highest version.
Workaround/Solution
Open a Command Prompt as an administrator.To manually delete the AuthPoint services from Windows, run these commands: sc delete AuthPointGatewaysc delete AuthPointADFSsc delete AuthPointLDAPsc delete AuthPointRADIUS Remove the Oracle/Sun Java JDK 11.0.8 or higher.Install either Oracle.Sun JDK 11.0.7, OpenJDK 11.0.7, or Amazon Corretto 11.In WatchGuard Cloud, generate a new registration key for the AuthPoint Gateway. Install the Gateway with the newly-generated registration key.
