Description:
Issue
In WSM 12.6.2, Policy Manager fails to save a configuration to a Firebox that runs Fireware v12.5.4 if the DN of Searching User text box contains a value in the Active Directory Server settings.When you try to save the configuration to the Firebox, an error message like this appears: The OS version of the Firebox or configuration file does not support these string values due to character set or string length:Active Directory: mdweg.local SearchUserDN: cn=Admin,cn=Users,dc=mdwg,dc=localBefore you can save the configuration for this OS version, remove objects with those names.
Workaround/Solution
Remove the DN of Searching User value from the Active Directory Server settings, or upgrade the Firebox to Fireware v12.5.5 or v12.6.2.
