Description:

Issue

If Windows prompts you to change your password when you log in, after you change your password, you cannot return from the MFA screen to the Windows login screen. If you click the back arrow on the MFA screen, your computer stops responding. This issue only affects Active Directory user accounts on computers that run Windows 8.1 and have the Logon app installed. The issue only occurs immediately after you change your password.

Workaround/Solution

Restart your computer. When you log in, you can now successfully return from the MFA screen to the Windows login screen.
