Description:

Issue

Fireware v12.5.5 and v12.6.2 prevent the creation of new Access Portal RDP sessions when free memory (MemFree) is below 300MB. This change was made to prevent system-wide out-of-memory (OoM) situations. When this occurs, you see this log message: guac-standalone The Firebox currently has [MemFree] KB of available memory. The Access Portal session was rejected because there is not enough available memory Because the change does not consider available cached memory, Access Portal sessions are also not created when free memory is below 300MB but total available memory is more than 300MB.

Workaround/Solution

To free up memory: Single Firebox: Reboot the Firebox.FireCluster: Perform a cluster failover.
