Description:

Issue

If your Firebox has multiple interfaces configured with a DHCP relay to the same server IP address, each individual DHCP request on any one interface will result in the Firebox sending multiple DHCP requests – one for each relay you have configured. This can result in excessive internal traffic that can generate network congestion or overload the DHCP server.

Workaround/Solution

To avoid this issue, use the Firebox as a DHCP server on each internal network instead of DHCP relay.
